الناطق باسم القوات المسلحة : تقرير الجارديان مضلل ويفتقر للشفافية ومحاولة يائسة لتشويه صورة الجيش
وصف العميد الركن نبيل عبدالله، الناطق الرسمي بإسم القوات المسلحة، التقرير الذي نشرته صحيفة الغارديان البريطانية على موقعها الإلكتروني، والذي نسب تصرفات محددة لجنود من القوات المسلحة، بأنه “يفتقر تماما إلى الشفافية والحياد، ومحاولة يائسة لتشويه سمعة القوات المسلحة التي عرفها الشعب السوداني دوما بأنها مخلصة لمواطنيها وحامية لشرفهم وأرضهم وكرامتهم”.
و قال العميد الركن نبيل إن الصحيفة لم تلتزم بأي معيار مهني يضمن شفافية وتوازن تقريرها ويبدو أنها تحمل دوافع خفية.
وأضاف العميد نبيل أن التقرير الذي نشرته صحيفة الغارديان على موقعها الرسمي احتوى على مغالطات وأكاذيب صارخة ضد أفراد القوات المسلحة في أم درمان.
وأشار إلى أن مراسلة الصحيفة تجنبت تماما الإتصال بأي من أفراد القوات المسلحة لعرض ما ادعت أنها حصلت عليه من قصص النساء اللاتي زعمن تعرضهن للإنتهاكات، فضلا عن أن المراسلة لم تطلب تصريحا رسميا من السلطات للعمل في المنطقة، وهو ما يثير المزيد من الشكوك حول دوافع التقرير ويشير إلى أن مهمة الصحافية ربما تكون إخفاء أجندة لخدمة جهات تعمل عمدا وبجد على تشويه صورة القوات المسلحة السودانية.
واختتم العميد الركن نبيل تصريحه مؤكدا أن الدليل الأكيد لدحض مثل هذه الإتهامات الملفقة هو أن المواطنين العاديين يفرون من أي منطقة تدخلها مليشيا الدعم السريع الإرها_بية ويلجأون إلى المناطق التي توجد فيها القوات المسلحة لأنهم يشعرون بالأمان على أرواحهم وممتلكاتهم وشرفهم.

Brigadier General Nabil Abdullah, the official spokesperson for the Sudanese Armed Forces, described the report published by the British newspaper The Guardian on its website, attributing specific behaviors to soldiers of the armed forces, as “completely lacking in transparency and impartiality, and a desperate attempt to tarnish the reputation of the Sudanese Armed Forces, which the Sudanese people have always known as loyal to their citizens and protectors of their honor, land, and dignity.”
Brigadier General Nabil stated that the newspaper did not adhere to any professional standards ensuring the transparency and balance of its report and appears to have hidden motives.
He added that the report published by The Guardian on its official website contained blatant falsehoods and lies against members of the armed forces in Omdurman.
He pointed out that the newspaper’s correspondent completely avoided contacting any members of the armed forces to present what she claimed to have obtained from the stories of women who alleged abuses. Furthermore, the correspondent did not request an official permit from the authorities to work in the area, raising further doubts about the report’s motives and indicating that the journalist’s mission might be to serve an agenda aimed at deliberately and diligently tarnishing the image of the Sudanese Armed Forces.
Brigadier General Nabil concluded his statement by asserting that the definitive proof to refute such fabricated accusations is that ordinary citizens flee any area entered by the terr_orist Rapid Support militia (Janjaweed) and seek refuge in areas where the armed forces are present because they feel safe for their lives, properties, and honor.
